I bought some very handy plastic baskets and put different bits and pieces in them so it's easy to find stuff and get things from the back etc. So all my various flours in one, sugars in another etc etc Generally means you can get more in a smaller space, but it's easier to find things. But really, I just want a PANTRY!!!Choclettehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00173996730095174268noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8161986605563092156.post-38222258597831002952012-03-30T06:56:52.166+13:002012-03-30T06:56:52.166+13:00"Stuff expands to fit the space available&quo..."Stuff expands to fit the space available" - ain't that the truth!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03985386359945971991noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8161986605563092156.post-89487473012161403212012-03-30T00:34:25.657+13:002012-03-30T00:34:25.657+13:00We have a decent sized kitchen but stuff expands t...We have a decent sized kitchen but stuff expands to fill the space available. When The Warehouse had it 1/2 price last week I got MORE! (There's generally a 1/2 price special on it somewhere every month or so.)I have a container for almost everything now and a couple of big ones for spice and odds and ends. My pantry is the only cupboard in my house that's organised and I love it. They are great for essence bottles, little packets etc. At least everything is corralled in one place and you can just lift them down. I do try to group my things a bit like flour and sugar together - but hey - the earth ain't going to stop turnng if it's not tidy. Enjoy life, housework always waits for you! If all else fails, take your glasses off - works for me!

AlisonAlisonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18409589205927122169noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8161986605563092156.post-23660887502729713172012-03-29T15:54:44.923+13:002012-03-29T15:54:44.923+13:00I just got home to a nice tidy house, went to put ...I just got home to a nice tidy house, went to put some groceries in the 'pantry' and I could have written the same post! I have to use a chair for the top shelf as well. I keep all the chocolate baking stuff and treats up the top so my son can't get to them :) I've decided one of the kitchen cupboards can be for spices and anything in a can. I hope you get some good advice, I need it too! xAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
